Our Two Day Secret Eden tour is sure to excite. Included in the tour are: all transport, English speaking guide, entrance fees, overnight accommodations, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast. We recommend you bring: sun screen protection, mosquito spray, camera, waterproof bag, sleeping bag, a change of clothes, and some money.
We will leave from Vang Vieng at 9:30am and drive up to Na Dao village, where we will visit the Elephant Cave and trek up a mountain for about a kilometer to Secret Eden. Here we will lunch and enjoy the view. After lunch, we trek up about half a kilometer more to reach the Hok Cave. Along the way we will pass by scenic rice fields, mountains, and get a great view of Vang Vieng. We continue onwards to Pha Thao, a Hmong village, where we will continue our walk to our accommodations in the village.
We will start at 10am, either by driving north to kilometer 10 (during the wet season July – October), or directly from the village during dry season (July – October) to begin kayaking down the Nam Song River. You’ll be given brief instrucitions prior to traversing down the river. We will stop by Phalai cave, the Organic Farm for some Mulberry green tea, and continue to the largest cave in Vang Vieng, which served as a bomb shelter during the Vietnam War. We should end up back into town in the afternoon, where we will end our tour.
