Day 1

Arrive at wattay international airport, meet and welcome by our Vientiane station guide and transfer to the hotel or soutchai’s bungalow, when the check-in is completed we’ll be serving you the lunch with Lao cuisine.

  • Option 1:
    • Activity: After lunch, we’ll be doing the city tour with electrical car riding to discover the main attractions in Vientiane and they are prominent temples of wat sisaket, wat ho prakeo. We will head on over to the victory monument(Patuxay) and climb up to the top to get the panoramic view of the city. We will then make our way to the spectacular wat thatluang the country’s most revered monument, Lastly you’ll enjoy the dinner.
  • Option 2:
    • Accommodation: Soutchai resort has 17 bungalows and the resort is located in 15 KM away from the town, the resort covers 14 hectares there are several forest types and surrounding is full of green trees. It is a peaceful place and it suites with nature lovers.
    • Activity: After lunch, we’ll be leading you to visit our elephant camp and doing the elephant rides, elephant riding activity will take about 30 minutes and then we’ll continue with fishing activity and some caught fishes will be prepare in some dishes for the dinner.
Day 2

At 9 am, we’ll start to heading up to the town of VangVieng. Along the route we’ll visit the Vangxang cave and stopping off at Nam Ngum Dam for a short boat cruise and having lunch on the boat after visiting these 2 places we’ll directly heading to VangVieng and staying at amari hotel: www.amari.com

Day 3

After your breakfast finished, we’ll go to see the yellow bridge and visit the Jung cave, organic farm after we’ll be riding the boat color along song river. Then we’ll go to see the best well-know Tham Poukham cave features the blue lagoon a nice spot to swim, swing on the rope and lunch will be at this place. And during the night time before we’re going to have dinner we’ll first visit and walk around the local night market.

Day 4

At 9 am, we’ll be leaving VangVieng  and heading up north to Luangprabang which it’ll take 5 hours drive. Along the way we stop off at 2 majors touristic places for taking photos at Phupieng Fa mountain and Khoon Loo Nang Oua cave. Arriving in Luangprabang We’ll be checking in at these hotels:

After check in. enjoy some free time at leisure and at 5 pm hotel pickup and lead to phusi mountain where you’ll climb up 328 steps to the top and to enjoy a panoramic view of the city and surrounding countryside. Descend to the Mekong side of the peninsula for a stroll through the evening hill tribe market and after shopping for handicraft and souvenirs, enjoy dinner with lao traditional food.

Day 5

At 9 am, We’ll begin to discover the Luangprabang’s old town visit the city’s numerous and renewed Buddhist temples and monasteries. First see wat visun lao oldest operating temple and pass by the smaller wat aham-the monastery of the opened heart then visit the majestic wat xieng thong one of the most significant monasteries in the country. We’ll take a break for lunch

After lunch we board a riverboat and set off down the legendary Mekong River, the 12th longest in the world. As you drift along, absorb the scenic views of the countryside before you arrive at the spiritual Pak Ou Caves. Enter the caverns and marvel at the hundreds of statues of Buddha in various positions.

Day 6

At 9 am, Leave the city behind and head to the peaceful countryside. Laos is home to the most beautiful natural landscapes in Southeast Asia and today’s drive provides a glimpse of these sceneries.

The beautiful drive ends at an even more beautiful destination in Tad Sae and  Kuang Si Waterfalls. The falls are a series of cascading turquoise pools, surrounded by lush forest. Spend time exploring the falls and enjoying the pristine nature. Take a challenging, but rewarding hike to the top of the highest point or simply relax on the rocks of the lower pools.  

For further insight into the natural wonders of Laos, a stop can be made at the Asiatic Black Bear Sanctuary. Located near the Kuang Si falls, this centre houses endangered bears rescued from poachers. The centre shows the efforts of the passionate animal lovers who are working to stop the poachers and preserve the natural habitat of the bears.  

Nearby there is also a butterfly park where dozens of colourful butterflies swirl around the tropical flowers.

Transfer you to the Luangprabang airport for your departure
